The Full-courses offered by the Faculty are regulated by the General Dental Council (GDC), this means you will be a GDC registered DCP following successful completion. These courses follow a curriculum structure that allows for progression between roles should you wish to advance your career in the future.
The programme has been developed for the trainee Dental Nurse who intends to register with the GDC and work the full Scope of Practice and progress further in the field of dentistry.
Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE) in Advanced Dental Nursing.
The programme is now available via the new level 4 apprenticeship framework.
The qualification is awarded by Bangor University, and the training is locally by delivered by providers.
The programme is conducted part-time alongside a corresponding Dental Nurse Trainee position in practice.
For those wishing to become Dental Hygienists registered with the GDC.

The programme is currently available at Grŵp Llantrillo Menai in North Wales and is to to be delivered by further education institutes and work based learning providers across Wales
The programme is conducted part-time alongside a corresponding Dental Nurse Trainee position in practice.
The programme sits on the Welsh apprenticeship framework, making it free for qualifying students in Wales.
